23 live bands, 6 days of activity, 3 locations and all the footage is now online for voting (ended 20th June 2010). The Samsung Mobile L!ve Battle of the Bands is the first campaign that Purity Productions has delivered for new client Cheil Worldwide and we are delighted with the outcome. This was a collaborative project from start to finish and brought on board partners Island and IS Media to create a team capable of creating a memorable project for all involved. Chris Dell, European Promotional Marketing Director from Cheil Worldwide commented, “Mobile L!ve is an important element of the global Samsung communications , through which we’ve sought to create a highly engaging, immersive campaign that captures the imagination of the public whilst showcasing the functionalities of the new Monte handset.I think we’ve achieved just that. The quality of the acts that played live in all locations haves been superb and very entertaining so we’re looking forward to seeing the outcome of the voting online”.

The tour visited Westfield Merry Hill, thecentre:mk and Manchester Arndale in May and June and was located in key footfall sites, entertaining big crowds on all live days, driving consumers into each Centres phone retailers. All performances were captured and edited to appear on the Monte website, www.montemobilelive.com .

Media and PR was driven by RED who worked with various regional and national media including NME and Kerrang to drive entries to the competition. All supported with a heavy digital element for the blogging community.
