Grant's receives royal treatment at Gardening Scotland
We gave you a sneak preview of this a couple of months ago and now Purity Productions has implemented the first of a series of experiential sampling events for the continued Grant’s Whisky, Garden After Hours campaign. Launched in partnership with touch PR in 2008, this year the campaign has been extended to have a more involved and immersive experience at established gardening events. The Gardening Scotland event held each year at the Royal Highland Centre proved to be extremely well attended bathed in glorious sunshine and the visitors to the show were treated to a Grant’s Garden After Hours experience. The Grant’s team were sampling the popular Grant’s Twist and Fruit of the Glen cocktails, whilst coopers from the Grant’s distillery in Girvan were on hand to take consumers through the art of cooperage. The show was visited by Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, who met with a number of exhibitors and entrants to the various gardening deign competitions.
Jason Bentley, Event Manager for the Grant’s team provided by Purity commented, “as a leading independant Scottish whisky we were well received last year. This year, with a bigger and better stand things could not have gone better. People love the drinks and are keen to learn more about the involvement that Grant’s have with gardening”.
The Grant’s team are now preparing themselves for a very different experience at the Lowlands Festival held at the home of Grant’s, Girvan before heading down to BBC Gardener’s World Live at the NEC. This year Grant’s whisky will be sponsoring the Gardener’s Crescent at the show and are looking forward to introducing the brand to a raft of new consumers.
